What is the difference between a mobile OR trailer and an ISO container OR?
A mobile OR trailer (53ft double-expandable) is road-mobile — it can be driven between sites on a semi-truck chassis. An ISO container OR is a fixed or relocatable module — transported by crane or container ship, typically for permanent or semi-permanent installation. ISO containers are preferred for international and island deployments.
How long does it take to set up a modular operating room?
Mobile trailer OR: 45–60 minutes for slide-out deployment and system activation. ISO container OR: 2–4 hours for crane-set and utility connections. Both are designed for rapid deployment with minimal on-site labor.
