In addition, they are ideal for use in prisons, disaster relief, and international humanitarian missions, where freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) are not feasible.
Odulair’s Mobile Surgery Units come in various platforms and vehicles. The most popular is the 53′ double-expandable trailer, which offers a state-of-the-art mobile surgical facility that spans 1,000 square feet. This unit includes an entry area, pre-op and recovery area, nurse’s station, scrub area, operating room, clean and soiled utility rooms, medical gas tank storage, janitor’s closet, and bathroom. Odulair’s Transportable Surgery Unit provides the same infrastructure in a 60′ X 32′ base, offering 1,700 square feet of space.
The Mobile Surgery Units have integrated power, lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, medical gas/vacuum, and communication systems. They are also self-contained, with redundant systems for power, water, and communications and holding tanks for potable, gray, and black water storage. Odulair’s Mobile Surgical Units are state-licensable, Joint Commission accreditable, CMS certifiable, and certified for use in California by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).
Odulair’s Mobile Surgery Units are designed with ease of use and flexibility in mind, featuring easy-to-clean surfaces and rail-mounted modular cabinetry for medical supplies and equipment. They offer superb infection control and are adaptable for telemedicine, robotic, and image-guided surgery.
